6.5AL - Medium Deep Cup Depth, 25.40mm Cup Diameter, Medium Wide and Well Rounded Rim. The same cup, throat and backbore as No. 6.5AL small shank tenor trombone mouthpiece but with a bass shank. "G" throat and #420 backbore. Requires a well developed embouchure.
1G - Deep Cup Depth, 28.00mm Cup Diameter, Medium thin rim that is well rounded. 800S Backbore. Extra large and deep for extraordinary power and depth of tone. Among the largest and most powerful bass trombone mouthpieces produced today.
1.5G - Deep Cup Depth, 27.00mm Cup Diameter, Medium Wide Rim that is well rounded. 429 Backbore. A large mouthpiece with powerful tone in the low register and great carrying power. For many years, the standard mouthpiece for the serious bass trombone player.
3G - Deep Cup Depth, 26.26mm Cup Diameter, Medium Wide Rim that is well rounded. 429 Backbore. Same rim and shape as the No. 3 small shank tenor trombone mouthpiece, but with a deep bass trombone cup, throat, and backbore to facilitate pedal tones.
4G - Deep Cup Depth, 26.00mm Cup Diameter, Medium Wide Rim that is slightly rounded. 429 Backbore. Same rim shape and diameter as the No. 4 small shank tenor trombone mouthpiece. A versatile, large diameter mouthpiece especially useful when only one trombone is used for both the upper and very low register.
5G - Deep Cup Depth, 25.50mm Cup Diameter, Medium Wide Rim that is semi-flat. 429 Backbore. Same rim and shape as the No. 5 small shank tenor trombone mouthpiece. Similar playing characteristics to No. 4G with a slightly smaller cup diameter.
5GS - Medium Deep Cup Depth, 25.50mm Cup Diameter, Medium Wide Rim that is semi-flat. 420 Backbore. Shallower "G" style cup with a smaller throat and backbore than the 5G. Produces an easy high register and a slightly brighter sound.
